The front of a T600 has a metallic (aluminium) look. This is done by some paint on the cover. I wonder where the paint is: is it on top, or is it on the back side ("inside") of the phone?
I wonder because I have some minor scratches on the front that could be removed with the well known polish, but only if the top of the cover is plastic - paint would be polished off.
One would think the paint is on the top, but in the dark you can see the light shining through te side as if the paint was inside the cover.
(Let me add that the minor scratches are the only visible effects of two the fall the phone has made two times on a hard tiled floor. I was afraid this little thingie would have been severely damaged. Quod non! Impressive construction quality)
