could any one advise on how to send a contacts number included in a text, many thanks

Just scroll to the contact which you want to send to someone.
Select Options - Send Contact - As text message and then enter the numbers of recipients. [addsig]

ok thought that the number automatically comes up on the text after pressing `send contact`. cant see the point of the option if no number enters the text, whats the point of it unless you have a good memory. many thanks for your reply.

There is benefit of sending contacts this way. The other person will be prompted to save the number. And if he press "Yes" the contact will be automatically saved to his/her contacts list.

There is another option as well...Select the number you want to send, copy it and paste it to your sms text. No need of good memory

Yes the copy paste option is the best, minimise ur text message go to contact u want to send edit and copy number and go back to ur text message and paste there! walla [addsig]
