I am new to the t68i scene. I have a AT&T model thats unlocked and being run on the T-mobile network now here in San Diego. I love this phone so far. My only proble is the setting for the GPRS and WAP will not stay in if i power off the phone. I have created a new WAP profile that sticks in, but if i put in the needed info in the connection settings it goes away at power off and reverts back to AT&T. How can I fix this. If I need to flash new firmware ( i have R3C001) is there a version of it thats makes the phone a generic model with no settings for other networks? If so where can I get it?

ok, yes this is a common problem with at&t phones. i got mine flashed to r6a via a datacable but i lost bluetooth. so be careful. my wap profiles and all that stick just fine now. i know there are a lot of people in cali who flash phones. try to find one who uses the EMMA II server, it is the official one that se uses. i know there is a guy in mission viejo, virtualdynamix. his website is: http://www.virtualdynamix.com i never dealt with him (wish i had). anyway, he will for sure be able to help you. good luck and enjoy your t68i!

also welcome to esato! its a great place!
