w995 vs ipod nano + camera phone |

i like w995 because is an all-in phone (i mean nice camera, video recorder, music, phone) or an ipod nano + a camera phone (could be a se cybershot like c702)
what would you choose? |

Camera phone all the way.
I don't use the video recorder much so I'm not in need for it. I'd take the Aino, Vivaz, Satio or the X10.

@dek1: as a previous owner of a C702 and a current W995 user, I advice you to steer clear from the C702, its performance is below average in low light conditions (also quite slow focusing)... In fact, the W995 is better in the camera department...
If you want to go with the camera phone route, I would suggest SE C901 (if you dont need WiFi and dont mind the somewhat small screen)... or even an Elm, which has been shown to take very good pics....
In my case, I would choose my W995 because i use Wifi nearly everyday...

Nah, nothing can beat an all-in-one device. Keep 2 devices with you all the time sucks, even more when a good cell phone can manage it easily.
My all-in-one choices would be:
- Nokia E72 or X6 or N86 or N8
- SE Satio (sucks for the absence of the 3.5mm jack) or Vivaz or X10
- Samsung Pixon12
- Iphone 4 ?
I'm thinking about replacing my all mighty E72 for a N8 when it arrives.

Combining two separate gadgets with different purposes means there must be a compromise in both so they aren't as good together as they are separate, despite being more convenient as one gadget instead of two.
I would say what I said before, get a phone with excellent music quality and get a compact camera, both can slip in your pocket easily... we have two pockets for a reason
