would it be possible for someone to look into changing the camera app from closing its self. i use my satio for car spottng and it takes to long to enter the camera. it would be nice to be able to keep it running.

The current time-out is 60 seconds. What do you want to change it to? |

I can't make it stay on forever, how many seconds do you want me to set it to? 3600 (1 Hour) |

If it won't turn off, battery will drain lot faster and lens likely get damage more easier

Because the lens focus mechanism will remain energised and may lead to the coil breaking down much sooner than if the camera was used normally.
You can see the metal band inside this lens module - it contains a copper winding that may burn out if energised for long periods of time.
