Whenever I download a .jar file in Opera Mini 5 on my Elm, it just closes without notice. I find this a major annoyance since I need to boot up Opera Mini after every .jar download. Is there any way to stop Opera Mini from closing like this?

There is no way. Opera Mini acts like that while downloading Java executable files. Why not try Bolt browser? It allows .jar/.jad files downloading without the annoying shutdown.

Plus when you use bolt browser, you have .jad or .jar file for future use and for sharing as well. So you can delete that game or app and when you want that you can install from .jar or .jad file without connecting to net and searching for that web site. I have 166 .jar files of applications and 186 files for games. this is my collection in my phone.
