Hii all,
I am trying to back up my phone (especially my phone book) but somehow i cant manage to connect the phone to SE PC suite! i have looked everywhere, even on SE site but there is no PC suite for my x10!! just a PC Companion which does not have a back up option! Anyone can help me out with that pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

Back it up to the memory card. I've reinstalled my phone a few times now and nothing has been deleted from it.

@hima78 Have you tried syncing your contacts with GMail? Rather then the SE Sync. You can also back your contacts up to the SD Card.
Id recommend My Backup or My Backup Pro for a complete handset backup from the Android Market Place. |

there is a new "back up and restore" function added to the new software anyway!
also, you can use Sony Ericsson Sync
just go to www.sonyericsson.com and click on "community" and sign up! its remote back up so if you lose both phone and memory card you still have everything and if you use two phones all the numbers are synced between them automatically! i.e if you add a new contact to one, it will also appear in the second phone

No i haven't tried syncing it with gmail.

I tried the SE sync and it worked like a charm, couldn't try back up to SD card since i didn't know how to do it
