in case you missed the one in the for sale forum...
the 3g/3gs dock work just as good (thats what I am using), (looks and specs just the same too)

definitely.
I suspect the only difference with the iphone 4 specific one is the width of the space the phone sits in. But the connector of the earlier models holds the phone perfectly fine without issue so no need to spend extra dosh
