I think the V70 has a very unique look to it; however it is not triband and does not have a color screen

There is a review of it in What Cellphone in the UK. They say that it certainly looks good but it's a case of form over function - in other words it doesn't work as good as it looks.

The V70 looks great but for the price you have to pay the T68 is way better. For North American users we won't be able to use it cuz it works on only 900/1800. Don't think the thing has bluetooth, the only thing that makes it special is the design.

No, it doesn't support Bluetooth.

The T68 is by far a better phone in technical terms. It does more.

But that is not the market the v70 is targeting. The v70 is intended for the fashion phone kinda deal, like the Nokia 8800 series was (and the 8910 will be).

The fact that it has no Bluetooth or IR clearly means it is not meant for the tech segment.

I have photos and a review on my site:

My colleagues and I had a good giggle at this "innovative" new Motorola.

One word: WHY?

It's ugly, and bizarre. It looks like an oversized compass.

Oooh, I do like those 'light rings' on the keypad, though.

Apart from that -- thumbs down.

Hello...THe V70,looks good, unique, I have nevver been a big fan of them.. but this phone is like a fashion statement, i can see a lot of people buying it for it's looks , fuc the functionality, and all the stuff the T68 has... it's like the nokia 8850...loads of people wanted it "desirable"

Yeah this phone is like the ultimate fashion statement. It's a shame its made by Motorola they always come up with really good ideas but I hate the way their phones work.

So how long will the phone last with that complicated joint?
