Hello guys,
I just purchased new xperia x10 mini. I would like to know the links or sites from which "must have" and other applications can be downloaded to PC (mainly in .apk file format) and then can transfer to mobile via usb

YWNWA

Also the problem is .. i have vodafone GPRS enabled on my xperia x10 phone and can browse through default browser. But can not log in market application or facebook or gmail. Whats the problem may be ? need solution really .. hence can not download free android market applications

Make sure you have proper connection.

Sometimes If you use GPRS instead of 3G, It is difficult to access web and market as the download speed is very slow.

Try These.

How do you install apx files on the phone once you have downloaded them? I have tried sending with bluetooth, but can not find where it has put the file on the phone.

@ volvoman: I have downloaded the application from free sites and then transferred to phone on SD via USB connection . Disconnect the phone from PC and then let the android stabilize the micro SD reading ...it generally takes 10 seconds (thanks to qualcom processor) go to menu and find 'application" it will scan u r sd card for any .apk files ....... after scanning by phone tap the relevent application and get it installed.
