Hello

I can´t make up my mind, SE X10 or Motorola XT720? http://www.expansys.se/d.aspx?i=195242

I have no way to play with either of them, I´ll have to rely on what I can read about them on the web.
I prefer the design of X10, but two things trouble me:
from what I´ve read some reviewers reported the screen to be a bit unresponsive, and others said the housing to be to "plastic" and "squeacy" when pressed.

What do you think?

Thanks!

^The Motorola XT720 is better because it has a lot more to offer than SE Xperia X10. The biggest advantage of Motorola XT720 over X10 is the multi-touch support, which is what the cellphone OS's nowadays is about and will be for years. Motorola XT720 is a good choice if you are going to use it for quite some time.

I've never used Motorola but XT720 looking promising. Android 2.1, Multitouch, 8mp camera with Xenon flash, HD video recording. In the other hand SE X10 will get Android 2.1 & HD video recording in Q3 2010 & DLNA sharing in Q4 2010. I don't know how important multitouch is for you, But for me it's just Xenon flsh in Motorala which apealing me

And screen on X10 is not unresponsive at all, i found it better than many other touch mobiles. And it's plastic but build quality is great

From GSMarena:

The sensitivity of the display is great as well - just as you would expect in a capacitive touchscreen.

The build quality of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is solid. The matt plastic on the back is quite fingerprint resistant and soft to touch. Although there are no metallic parts to strengthen the overall build quality, this actually turns out to be a good thing. The plastic used to craft the X10 body is excellent: strong and of very high quality. There are no creaks at all, and every single part of the body fits perfectly in its place. Thanks to the lack of metal the X10 is lighter than the HTC HD2 but doesn’t lose out in terms of design.

Go for Motorola because X10 is hard to use when swiping the screen left and right or scrolling it up and down. Plus, it will not be as responsive as the phones with multi-touch when it comes to applications that use multi-touch.

At the moment id ether recommend the new Samsung Galaxy S or the Xperia X10 IMO.

I have had no problems with the touch-screen. However, I am running R1FB001 firmware and not the R1FA014 (Release software)
