Hi, i have received a SE Xpheria x10a. but my problem is that the "SIM network unlock PIN" was entered incorrectly to many times. Now that I have a proper pin to unlock when I type it in, it says SIM card locked, contact network provider. and I've bought a new sim card and it still reads the same message. Is there any way to get my phone to work ?

As stated before. I have already tried a new SIM card it didn't help anything and yes the SIM card I have works in other phones.

I think you should take the phone back to where it was bought! I am sure they will be happy to help.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

if you input the wrong unlocking code too many times, the phone may become PERMANENTLY locked to that network.

happened today at work. wrong code in e71 too many times. couldnt do anything about it....

So that's it for the phone pretty much..?, Damn..I don't want to give up

Is there anyway to hack the phone and reset the counter that counts how many time it was typed incorrectly?

You will never be able to unlock the phone yourself. The only hope you have is to bring it back where you bought it from. Or you can bring the phone to which ever network it's locked on and have them unlock it.

Your beginning to raise my suspicions mate, you have been told what to do on more than one occassion just take it to an authorised SE Service centre they WILL fix it, unless you have your own reasons for not wanting to do that OR cant of course
