Vivaz TV out colors |

Just got a TV out cable and connected to my TV. The colors are not a vivid as when playbacked on the handset.
Is this something related with the TV out "engine" of the device? I ask so because even when a video file is played on the PC, the colors again aren't as vivid and fresh as on the handset's playback.
What do you think?

Hi all,
I have a Vivaz. I just bought a tv-out cable, but when I plug it in the picture is totally broken. But if I pull the plug out of the Vivaz, about one click (or sleeve) it works fine (but appears to be mono sound). Is this related to the video cable pinout difference in OMTP I read about or something else? Do you reckon it can be fixed by cutting the cable and rearranging the signal?  I'll probably try that anyway, cause it's useless at the moment.
I also noticed that my brother's iPhone's headset would not work when plugged into the Vivaz, but it did when I pulled it a bit out, just like now with the video cable.
