the no in or out calls sounds scarily like the phone is blocked / barred / blacklisted !!!!
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Had the same problem. At first it was showing my number under my contacts but then recently I was a little late on paying my current bill on time and my carrier locked my outgoing calls and sms.. That's when it started showing "SIM not available" under contacts. After debranding, changing sims (changed to another postpaid sim and several prepaid ones) it still doesn't show any of my simcard's numbers.

Hi guys! 1 of my 2 SIM cards wasn't showing MY NUMBER on my X10 so I put it in my P990 and went to Contacts app then chose SIM card then My Numbers under options and I manually inserted the SIM card's phone number. I put this SIM back in the X10 and MY NUMBER now shows all the time, except it won't show the " + " sign no matter how many times I've tried to rewrite it. At least MY NUMBER shows altough with no " + " ! All my previous SE phones gave the option to edit MY NUMBERS on the SIM card, as the numbers, especially on pre pay cards don't always show. So you'll have to use an older SE phone or other brand that offers this option to edit MY NUMBERS. Good Luck Guys! - Peter.
