How to unlock a Samsung E2120? |

Im going away traveling this summer and need a cheap phone to take with me but need to get it unlocked, o2 want to charge me £15 so that a no no. How would I go about unlocking it at home?
Is it via a code or cable?
Also i have a mac if that makes any difference.
