A few questions.
1.Do you guys think it will get 2.2? Its so annoying that IMO SE has the best phones but they make stupid decision's, why update to 2.1 and not 2.2?, and why SO LONG?
2.If this gets rooted and everyone is able to root, can we expect to have the standard 2.2 ROM etc? You just the plain ROMS like on the N1 etc.
3.IF it gets rooted can we expect ROM support from developers for a while? like 2.2, 2.3 etc?
4.I have a Rogers Unlocked X10a, Is Debranding risky? I want to debrand it but Im nervous that I can brick my phone or something...

se has said that this phone will get support longer than other ophones .. may be 2-3 yrs max...
so definitely x1o will have froyo.. but later..
but there are high chances se might release froyo directly coz community uproar is too much .. even in thier official blog , comments have been mostly to update directly to froyo

I have debranded my phone, not that risky. i guess it could brick your phone if you accedently turn it of during instalation. but if you follow the easy steps it should not be more risky than anything else. i have done it 2 times now.
but i guess my warranty is lost when i changed the f/w
side note, is't anyone adressing the A button in landscape mode that is like working 25% of the press you do? that is one anoying thing. if i type and not looking at the text i are missing 75% of my A's in my sms/mms

Are you talking about default keyboard?  Then yes, i had the same problem, but on HTC keyboard, i've not any problem |
