hello, i've been trying to set up voice dialing on my t68i, but am having problems, as the documentation is really crappy.

i'm not using a headset or hands free, i just want to be able to pick up the phone and say "call blah" and have it call whoever.

also, can i use the magic word to "wake up" the phone without pushing any buttons? (i'd rather not have to unlock the keypad if i can avoid it)

so, can anyone walk me through setting up something like this and maybe throw in some tips/tricks?

Ok, this is how you do it on the T68...think it's about the same on T68i!

This is translated from swedish, so it might be other words! =)

First of all, choose settings -> Voice settings (first one)
Then choose the first one (voice calling) and switch this to "on".

After this a screen pop up where you have to record some voices...
these are: Home, work, Mobile, other.

Just click theese and record your voice saying the choosen word. I think you just have to record Home and mobile. (that was the only one that I use).
This is done, because it will be much easier calling a person later...you just have to say the name after the beep, wait for the second beep and then say "home" or "mobile".

When you are done, go back to the meny and choose Phonebook.
Pick "edit contact" and choose the person you want to add a voice record.

Then choose edit voice and just say the name after the beep...

Well, when you are done, just go out of the menu!

You activate the voice call by holding the Yes button down for a short while. When you here the first beep, say the name! When you hear the second beep, say home or mobile!

This is it!

I hope you get it to work!

By the way...I think the magic word only can be used with handsfree...you find this in settings!

Best regards, Patrik
