The led light turns off although the cable is still connected. Then it starts to drin battery again. When I wake in the morning it is somewhere between 94-98% left. Mines does the same thing, it'll stop at 100% and start charging again if the battery life dips below 90%. You'll find that over time, laptop batteries lose their capacity if always plugged into the A/C, maybe doing this helps prevent that.
