Yes, as long as you chose the update option in SEUS after you've installed helloox2 and rompatcher.
The steps there will show you what to do. Follow them to the letter or you might not get the Update option in SEUS. I had that problem at first. |

Open the menu, press the bottom right icon for settings (spanner and screwdriver) then the 2nd option, and again the 2nd option and then the top item lets you chose your language.
The try installing again. What is the error message you get?
It sounds like you haven't followed all the steps yet.

i think u need to delete the DB folder again, since now your "latest" update is 006 (thats what seus thinks because you put that file there). So delete the whole DB folder and run SEUS again. If it works, report back how did you installed HelloOX, as i want to downgrade too to hack it. (you said it didnt work the first time.. what did you do 2nd time?).
Waiting for report.
OOOR, simply select your file (According to region) and replace that file in the DB folder (that file you select will replace the "006 downgrader file", a file ~370byte..) and update again. This time USE THE TUTORIAL WITH ATTACHED FILE (not the downgrader file), from SE-NSE forum.
Report which method is working.

hi norbi
to downgrade my phone i did exactly as the guide said, it worked fine, dont know whjat happend when i updated and it deleted helloOx from my phone but i put it back on and its installed. i am still running the old firmware. the only thing i didnt do in the guide was replace my region file, i probably will do that at some point but i'm going away on holiday this week so i'll do that when i get back. all i need to work out is how update back to 006 and keep helloOx. i even unistalled the whole seus file and program thinking that would work but when installed it again and went to update it still said i had current software level. i think this is why my hellOx disappeared the first time because i never had the option to updateor factory reset, i think it automatically did the factory reset |

The update option only appears after you've followed all the steps and you are upgrading to the latest firmware.
I had to go through the guide twice as I didn't follow some of the steps the first time as I thought they wouldn't really be needed.
All I can say is make sure your following all of the steps in the guide. If you do that, you will be able to update your phone. |

the only thing i'm worried about it losing helloOx like the first time i did the last update.
i'll have another look when i get home. for the region setting, i take it the uk comes under central europe? and when i replace the file and update helloOx wont disappear?
cheers |

well SE did ssome monkey business in the SEUS, but before there where 2 (two) options when you update:
1. Update
2. Update+reset (updates than resets your phone to 0, loose all apps and everything on phone memory)
You could select one option. If you wanted to keep helloOX then u did point 1. But SE messed around, and for some people the selection screen wont appear, and it will update automatically (doing step 2.) So if you dont have that selection menu, then i think you can kiss helloOX good bye. The only way to keep it is to select 1. for update only, all apps will be kept on phone (and settings).
