Just got a SE Aino, and I've managed to get Facebook up on my front screen, which is really cool. However am I being charged for this?
I've looked at the "Internet Settings" for Facebook on my phone and I'm given 3 options to "Connect Using" ...
02 MobileWeb
02 Pay & Go
02 Pay Monthly.

Can I not connect using my Wi-Fi only as I don't want to be charged extra for internet usage

and also on a side note is there a way to totally disconnect mobile internet from my phone, I've had a few nasty surprises in the past

and just to add to that, if I want to connect to the internet, how do I force the phone to connect via Wi-Fi and not via a mobile internet thats going to cost me?
Thanks for any help
Dom

You can disable 3G and in general settings you chance it to homenetwork. To be sure, check every application and set internet settings to home.

Thanks for the reply

General settings I've got:
Profiles, time and date, language, update software, voice control, shortcuts, flight mode, PIN codes, security, phone status and master reset. ... none of them help with disabling 3G. Will disabling 3G stop me sending receiving MMS though?

Internet settings I've only got a choice of
02 MobileWeb
02 Pay & Go
02 Pay Monthly,
No option for a home network/wifi? Even if I create a new connection I'm presented with CS/PS data and then to enter a username, phone number etc...?

You came close.
Menu> Settings> Connections> ...
Here you'll find mobile-networks and internet-settings. Good luck

Ok so I go to Settings>Connectivity>Mobile Networks>Select Network.
After a search I'm given 9 choices. Top 2 are 02 - UK.
One has a house and a 3G symbol, one has just a house. I'm guessing the house means home network then?
I'll give it a go

Re: Internet settings, I've only got 2 options in that menu: Connect Using and Allow Local Conn. Connect using presents me with
02 MobileWeb
02 Pay & Go
02 Pay Monthly,
nothing linked to Home network?
