A friend is the market for a new phone and has asked me to help her find one but it has to be cheap and have a large screen (as big as possible) so suggestions would be much appreciated

Spec doesn't have to be great just a decent camera and a large touch screen |

There are some cheap xpressmusic touchscreen phones. Like the 5530.

NOKIA 5230 is a good choice. Great battery life, nice 3.2inch 640x360 display, updated Webkit browser with Flash support, it even gets better software & firmware support from Nokia than some Symbian flagships from other manufacturers that are more than 3times more expensive.

Yes & it's reliable too I had one of the 5230 phones they are good except camera is poor. Although cam pics look good on it's screen they are improved a bit with new update. Not a single software problem with the 5230 This is the photo quality of the Nokia 5230 2 mega pixel camera which has vastly improved on firmware update & the phone is great.

@Bonovox that 5230 cam is great! reminds me of my very own G502... well, go for the 5230! it's a smartphone anyway! and way better than corby...

According to me there are various new phones avaliable in the market but it depends on your specifications such as
1.Brand preferred.
2.Budget you have.
3.Features you required.
So match the one that suits you the best and have it. |

There is no brand preference but price must be as low as possible and must have Wi-Fi |
