I've tried to use the program EMelodyLab to edit ringtones, but it don't seems to work very well. You can't play the tones in the program. I use Win Me. Anyone who can help?

hmm, i've just downloaded the program.
Havent tried it out yet.

I usually use the GH musicbox.
There you can listen to the melodies. And make new ones. BUT GH musicbox is only for making melodies,..or paste a melody into it. You cannot save as "emelody", like the other program.
But you can use it to listen to the melodies.
And it works in windows ME.
You can find it here :

http://www.neutralzone.org/cosmos/

Name of program: Ericsson GH688/788 Musicbox.

I have only tried it on WinXP and it works fine...

The sound comes from the default MIDI sound device. Maybe you guys should try to go to Sounds and Audio Devices Properties and set the Default MIDI music playback device.

I'm using Microsoft Software Wavetable Synthesizer and the digital audio output device is SoundBlaster Live Wave Device.

So as far as I'm concerned if you have af SundBlaster Soundcard you should get EmelodyLab playing also on Win98.

On the other hand I know that the author of this program have made other software which only works on XP/2000, and that he has not testet the software on Win98. For further information about this, take a look at http://www.ractive.ch

Hey I have tried the program in Windows 2000 and works fine and I save the tune as a EMY file and send it with the SendFile program to my phone (T39) It works fine except that even if I adjust the tempo speed to what I want it goes back to the original tempo when I save it and send it to the phone! Does anybody know how to correct the problem?
