Perhaps this is a already known bug, but I've never heard of it. I just found it out by accident, so some (or most?) of these steps are probably unnecessary (haven't yet bothered to find out witch). Anyway, this is what I did:

1 ) Change to the theme you want to alter the bg on if necessary (the bg change is only temporary though).

2 ) Go to Fun & games>Games>Erix>Options>Background>Choose file. Select the pic you want as bg.

3 ) Go to Fun & games>My pictures and delete the same pic.

4 ) Go to Fun & games>Games>Erix>Options>Background>Picture option. Select "Centre".

5 ) Turn phone off. Then turn it on again.

6 ) Go to Fun & games>Themes. Select "Classical".

7 ) Once Classical is set, press NO until you get to the desktop and once again go to "Themes" in the menu (this step might be unnecessary, haven't tested).

8 ) Select the same theme as in the first step. If you're lucky the menu bg is changed. If your not, nothing has happened, or the ordinary bg is changed instead.

It doesn't work every time, but it seems that it works better with some themes than others. The theme it works best with for me, has already got a menu bg installed, but no desktop bg.

If this IS a "new" bug, have fun!

Well, not sure if you have to delete it. Didn't really understand your question, but YOU delete it. It will stay as background until you change theme. Anyone got it working?

I'm happy with the default theme and my own background wallpaper.

Perhaps it is only in some SW versions. What is yours?

@Elite, you said '...and delete the same pic' so it would delete the picture from your phone, yeah? If that's the case, it's a bit pointless isn't it?

R2F is my software. And I know its pointless, but I thought it was a strange bug. Perhaps "useful" if you don't have IR or BT to transfer and edit theme
