iPhone blogger has computers seized by police
Police in California have seized computers belonging to the editor of a gadget blog which was involved in the purchase of an iPhone prototype.
Gizmodo had admitted it paid $5,000 to an unnamed individual for the next generation device, which was reportedly left in a bar by an Apple employee.

I have read about this too on timtechs news. It certainly looks like the real deal, otherwise Apple wouldn't be making too much of a fuss over it with the police and all getting in the picture. But seems to me that it's a "plant", leaking the next gen iphone while looking like a victim. and if the new information is true that a newer iPhone 4G prototype has been bought by a Vietnamese businessman, it's either they are too careless to lose such an important and confidential prototype or it's just too much of a coincidence and that luck is very much against them  |

Yeah I saw this, pretty stupid for Gizmodo to get involved in purchasing an item that was clearly someone else's property. Then they follow up by telling the world what they did... can you say STUPID?
