not getting email notification |

somehow i'm not getting the emails i should be. notifications that is. i have it set for 5 mins to retrieve and notify but i get nothing. can someone help me out? |

Do you have JuiceDefender on? I had that on and I also had the same problem. Basically, JuiceDefender sets a scheduled restriction so that your phone can only connect to the Internet on certain intervals (e.g. default is 1min of Internet on for every 15min time). That means if your phone tries to retrieve emails at the time that JuiceDefender turns off the Internet, your phone won't be able to check and it probably gives up checking.
Once I turned off JuiceDefender, I got email notifications as normal. Hope this helps!

i noticed that as well. i just reset my phone to factor settings because it was not getting anything from anyone. so far, still the same. i'm not sure what the heck is going on. |

does anyone knows how to fix problem in email? i tried everything i can but i cant seem to put my email that is yahoo and i know its not supported but i still want to use my old email coz its been my email for 20yrs. thanks in advance!!!!! |

well my problem was actually GMAIL! there was problems with gmail server i guess and after a few hours i got all the emails. but i'm not sure about yahoo mail. |

thanks! i've also done it manually with WIFI or 3G after putting severname etc. etc. still say username and pssword incorrect. maybe ill try doing it again n again and maybe this i will have luck. |
