Sony have included an iSync plugin on their support website for the SE Vivaz yet I have had no luck getting iSync to work with this phone. I'm running iSync 3.1.1 (586.0) running on 10.6.3 but when I try to "Add Device" via iSync it reports 'This device is not supported by iSync', even though the SE plugin is installed. I have successfully paired the phone via Bluetooth Preferences.

Anyone else run into similar issues or figured a work around?

Ignore the warning and just try and sync. It did the same to me.

Doesn't even let me get past the "Add Device" stage - just say's it's not supported and won't allow me to Add it to iSync. Strange as I can browse files on the device and send files from the device but iSync is not interested. Out of curiosity what version of iSync and OSX are you running? I'm on iSync 3.3.3 (586.0) and OSX 10.6.3. When I pair it with the Mac it now doesn't even mention using the phone with Address book / calendar which in previous flavours of OSX when Bluetooth pairing it did mention this?

Success!! My brand new iMac running latest version of Snow Leopard and iSync won't to Sync with the Vivaz - iSync refuses to allow you to add the device and constantly states that the device is not supported. However, I had reason to boot up my old Mac running OSX 10.4.11 and iSync 2.4 (501.2) and the plug-in works fine.
