I write some points that i hope will be correct or add in the future firmwares:

  1. Kinetic scroll in rubric
  2. Battery % info!!
  3. Rotate and save photo!!!
  4. Auto turn off when the battery is at 0% (In other SE phones the device turn off automatically at 0% and shutdown animation appear. Vivaz seem to crash with blink screen when battery die.
  5. More understandable battery animation when charging (now only red and green led at side show the status)
  6. (WELL DONE!) - - - More quality for camera at low light condition (less noise)
  7. Auto manage of led flash for photo
  8. Rotate image in edit mode!
  9. Fix video rec to 24fps instead of 23
  10. Increase audio from microphone during rec
  11. Add system tags library for video in media UI
  12. A program like VideoDJ
  13. (WELL DONE!) - - - RDS in FM radio
  14. Track ID in FM radio
  15. Torch function
  16. Smiles in messages

Please developer consider these request!

R2CA024
_Add RDS and AF in Radio
_Add cronometer during calls
_Now Vivaz remember last dimension of shortcut bar when turn on
_Other ?

R2EA023
_Start up is faster
_Google maps updated now has search by voice feature
_Facebook and Roadsync Panels which can now be added to your standby screen
_Enhanced performance and functionality for YouTube, Facebook, RoadSync and Barcode Reader
_Stability improvement in the areas of W-LAN, MMS and Internet
_Video quality improvement for playing MPEG4 format
_Performance improvement when multitasking
_Support for up to 32GB microSD memory cards

Thanks to Anouk82 for test the firmware

For "Battery %" i meant the info of battery status that in this device is missing!
Also Auto led is important, i mentioned.

I understand as battery percentage is missing,
normally with Symbian (which at first I also can't stand) fix it with DeviceInfo no sign just widget ready 4 install

Auto turn off when 0%, it every phone proper behavior it run out of battery how they can stand?
I really confusing with this but anyway you should avoid that behavior cuz will ruin ur battery die faster

Video first stutter and constant framerate should fix in next firmware,
Agreed

Vivaz have no FLASH but it Photo Light for proper close range video at night or low light
cuz of that you have to manually turn them on when needed

Video Tag, Video Editor
Agreed

First and foremost the FLASH should be fixed. Change the programming to update it from a photo light to a PROPER FLASH.
The light is weak as it is, and you can't even take a proper photo at night without it looking like a photo taken with an ancient phone.
Too noisy.

Oh goodness, someone at least claims to have the same bad issue with my Vivaz: video capture stutters!

Will it be in the next 100 years before the next firmware will be out by SE?

Yes in the first seconds and rarely in the middle of videos but really it happens only in playback in the device. The video transfered in the PC have not stutters. Remains the problem of 23fps instead of 24
My firmware is R2AK006 generic adriatic

May I please ask which player you use on your PC to play the MP4 videos?

I may only paly them with VLC... Other players have a lagging video to sound playback.

I downloaded latest WMP classic but while it plays the HD files made with the Vivaz, the system struggles to cope with.
I have XP on my PC and I suspect that my Graphics card isn't that flexible.

I still can only play the files with VLC and many stutters are there to get on my nerves.

SE is fooling around with the so much advertised HD video capture. I hope someone sues them just for the sake of maladvertising and capitalising on something that is not what they promise us to be. Other phones claim to have HD capture but SE focused all adverising efforts around this. Legally this is a big problem.

Anyway, the most strange thing for me is why sometimes the capture has 1 on 2 very short stutters while some other times there are 2-3 or even more heavy stutter points. I am trying to find what is the probable cause so I can take measures to minimise this problem. You know, it is very annoying after some 5 minutes of videotaping someone doing something to realise that during playback there are stutters...

Bloody SE marketeers

Regards
Al

Awareesa the video stutter defect appear only in vivaz playback at first seconds not on the pc.
In my pc all video taken with vivaz are fluids from start to finish, i suspect that the hardware of your computer is in difficulty when play the video... There is a problem of 23fps instead of 24 but is not relevant about stutter. Which processor and video card do you use?
