Reading the Spiro will be OEMed by Arima Communications and knowing Foxconn is producing the X10s, i was wondering what other company's SE use as OEM? Also, do they have own factories at all, or are all the products produced by Foxconn an the likes?

Sony of Japan and Ericsson of Sweden?
There is another but can't quite think of it right now.

SE has some factory's left, not many.
they prefer outsourcing everything.
ever the brains of the SE management are outsourced, sadly they chose kids that are 5years old for that.

I think thats why SE's product quality decreased. they outsource everything.
Why not build 4 factories (asia, europe and americas) and just maintain it? in that way, they can keep track of their products' quality |

its people like those who run SE's management that are destroying this world.
i don't believe in the afterlife, but if their is anything, i hope they go true a lot of pain and suffering for the rest of time.
this might sounds harsh, but the its the truth, and deep inside you all agree!

I like the part about SE even outsourcing brains! It would seem they had lost their damn minds and it took them just over 2 years to find them, at least now things are looking way better than before though they do make silly mistakes here and there but are on the right track at this stage.
What happened to Ericsson's factories? I mean, when they announced that they were pulling out of the mobile phone market they still had many factories and it didn't take them long to reach an agreement with Sony on the joint venture. Hell, the T68 and T610 were conceived by Ericsson themselves! Sony also have many manufacturing plants, I know Sony aren't SE but could also help and I don't mean to a point where it interferes with their own business.
Outsourcing may be good for cutting costs but it will hurt cause your control on certain aspect of manufacturing will suffer greatly.
It's not what you do or even how you do it but in what state of mind you do it: Dups! 2009 |

Sony as a company itself had a lot of potential, but then they started to shut down curtain things, and cut back on development. The time Aibo died, Sony started to lose ground on most fields. I always liked Sony, but from day one of SE, i knew it was a mistake.
SE is still making to many mistakes, no AF cams on curtain devices, they just launched another 2 mid level phones, the market doesn't need anymore mid level devices.
i wonder if the Xperia pureness is OEM?

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. This is the people who actually make the phone for Sony Ericsson.
