I think this will not come true. It may be a mistake in the simulator.

Could be a possibility. I was searching for a file the other day on my Satio and in the list returned were a number of files named SimpleVideoEditor and VideoEditorUI (in z:\resources) so, like the equalizer, it may be something they planned but haven't yet implemented.

It should be released as when you think about it, SE market the phone as been able to take videos, so you should be able to edit them before putting them on the web.
It should at least allow you to cut/copy/paste video frames.
