Does anyone else find that the call volume of people that call you isn't loud enough? I tried turning the volume up using the side rocker but still its not very loud compared to the Satio and all over phones I have been using.
Would there be any other way of increasing the call volume other than using the side rocker?

I can't find any other way other than using the side rocker. I couldn't hear a thing earlier outside when someone called

Battery draining too fast and too low call volume seem to bee the two most common issues currently, so you are not alone. Get SE support a call. |

Ok I'll fire one to Sony Ericsson about the call volume and battery and so should everyone else that has an issue with it. I think these two things need sorting out.

No problem here. Make sure you get the hole, outputting the voice in the correct position of your year.
For the battery, no big different from other smartphone. You just have to be smarter. Go download thr Task Killer and kill all task when you are not using. it makes a difference. |

It's not loud enough, every other normal or smart phone is louder than the X10. It needs to be louder especially in a busy environment. As for task killer, I do use it, the battery could be much better but at least you can buy a spare and have it ready charged with the EP900

Hello, I used a X10i for 1 week (it was a German version) and I experienced popping and cracking in the earpiece in communication when the volume is higher than 50% (and you often need to increase the volume as it is quite low). I change the X10 to a French version and I had the same issue. it seems that I'm not alone, a lot of people experience this problem but it seems that nobody has any solution. i don't know if the FW 1.0.16 can help improving the sound quality.
Thanks for your feedback and help.
Best regards |

yup call volume is way too low. in a noisy environment, it's impossible to hear anything.
this is an issue which perplexes me since it has happened several times with initial releases of SE. if i recall correctly, it was an issue with my K750 and W910. why can't they just make it loud, and just allow the user to turn it down if they want?
this is just a totally unnecessary issue. |

I agree about too low sound volume. I also experience the cracking sound in the speaker due to the 100 % sound volume.
