Very good photos zide. The E72 seems to put a lot of post processing on the pics

Thanks!

@ Bonovox - The portuguese also eat them! Ahaha yummy!

@ mriley - They do so because I've increased the sharpness (from "Normal" to "High"). I prefer them this way, crispier!

Thanks. There is a huge difference between the cameras in the E71 and E72 mate!

Are you sure you didn't forget a 'not' up there? Compare the E72 with Nokia's older 5 MP camphones. Check the Esato photo gallery and compare a few full size shots from the E72 and for example the N95 and you will see the difference.

Why would I need to compare? You can tell they are heavily processed by the camera, look at the sharpness on all of the photos, some people like that and others don't. Photos from other cam-phones look more 'organic' and the sharpness and other parameters can be increased to make them look more like these pics (like the RAW option in DSLRs) But IMO it's better for cam-phones to put this processing on because people don't edit their pics by their camera phone, unlike with proper cameras where manufacturers give you total processing power with RAW.
But you can tell it's more than processing, the detail is very good, I like the end result.

Is that Venus?

Hey mates, in this last photo, what do you think that those tiny circles are? Mars? The photo was taken directly to the Sun which was so bright!

No those are just lens flares its quite common when taking pictures in direct sunlight

So you were talking about sharpness... My bad When someone mentions post processing then I immediately think of noise reduction. Hence my comparison. Older camphones, like the N95, had poor quality sensors and needed heavy-handed noise reduction to tackle the noise, resulting in something that looked more like oil paintings than photos.

Sorry for the photo removal. I've made a "photo selection" in my flickr account.

New ones!

Old fence

Foot on the rocks

Rusty water pipe

Took around 80 photos and all became fine. Great and consistent performance.
