I Just managed to get my yahoo mail running over GPRS on Orange in the uk.
The standard GPRS connection is set up to run WAP and not standard internet connections. This is set up by using an APN of 'orangewap'. Pop3 cannot access over that connection. To make the mail work you need to create a new GPRS data connection with the same values as the default appart from an APN of 'orangeinternet'.
Find these settings in connect->data comm.->data accounts. |
