Please help. The center key on my friend's G705 is not working. The battery has been removed for at least 1 minute but still the center key does not work. |

I had this problem also and it's due to hardware fault. For me my G705 the centre button cannot work then later all buttons on the top slide cannot work. The service centre told me the ribbon cable was damaged and had to be replaced. |

If it's under warrenty send it back. This happened to my wife's C905 twice. First time cable, second time it was the keyboard that was cracked.
