Seems the Satio is the first SE touch phone using symbian OS, anyway I install successful and it can execute. But the problem is when I add the slingbox directory. i don't know is it the Satio is it haven't any hardware "direction key". I can not click the "down" key to choice the radio button to select the slingbox ID / IP address.
Therefore, due to the slingbox directory can not add , the slingplayer can not steam the video through our home's slingbox.
Does anybody have a workaround solution that I can add the directory?Because the Java Application in Satio have a virtual keypad but the slingplayer haven't!
you will find here the supported phones , everything thats not there might work but not with full features

SE has a long history (in mobile phone terms at least) of devices running Symbian but the Satio was their first S60v5 phone. I haven't checked but it sounds like you have installed a S60v3 (non-touchscreen) version. Either find a S60v5 version (if one exists) or install an app called Virtual Keyboard (Google should point you in the right direction). |

You can turn off the virtual keyboard in application manager->suit settings->keyboard(i guess)
And for shining applications use OPDA online shining tool or download pc tool with your key and cer files.

There are no options for sling player because it was installed after several compatibility warnings.
Signing the virtual keyboard app is the easyest way to go I think, or I'll have to wait for a new version for touchscreens. |
