downlod problem with om4.2handler |

I am surfing free internet using ssl supported cgi proxies such as,
https://anon.imservices.ru/nph-proxy.cgi/001010A/http/
i can browse with om4.2 handler but when i downlod something it show an error "error fetching file".
Plz tell me how can i overcome this prob.
A request to Cyborg,Litemint and other experts.
My phone unit is nokia n70.

Hmmm, maybe the ssl itself, try removing letter s in the https.

i suggest use om5 instead, om4.2 needs front query(dloading purpose) while om5 doesn't need to. |

If i remove "s" from "https" then i wud never b able to browse/downlod for free.
I can bypass my network server only by using SSL proxies(cgi,ph,glype),so the "s" is essential.
Ok leave it,jst tell me how can i uplod jar files in om2.06mod,i mean uploding of jar files using om2.06mod and om3.10mod. |

saudtk, im also a n70 user and got the same error. I think n70 is not capable of downloading using OM 4.2 i guess. But you can try built in browser instead....

if you were already browsing free in your om2.06, yes it can upload but i think the maximum size to be uploaded is only 300kb. |

'Https' browsing can download only on 'https' sites. I think mr litemint knows some https or secured download sites. Dropbox ba Yun? Anyways try this: try to change the 'http' download link and trick it by changing it to https. Best of luck! |

Yes Cyborg I am browsing and downloding for free in om2.06mod.I have already modified the server to https://anon.imservices.ru/nph-roxy.cgi/001010A/http/om2.06server through hex editor.
But when i browse in my mmc through file manager of om2.06,the jar files are not shown...Why??? |

try renaming the .jar to .jar.zip

@ topic.. im using OM4.2 which i got from opera website..
it just happened that i thought something is not right on my connectinsettings,so nthe nexting idid was to minimized the OM4.2 and open the connection manager to check if there is really no connection, till ifound out that itwas just unstbale./.
try this... after you install the OM4.2
1. hold menu key and open connection manager. and wait till establish of connection finished,you just be asked to allow conection and chose acces point
2.wen connection started,check if there is really connection. you will see the receiving and sending of data.
3.f you noticed the data receiving stoped, disconnect right away,.
4. OM4.2 will automatically assk again for connection. just allow and choose the same accespoint you used the first time
5. hev a gud tyming in disconecting and reconecting to the web ^^
i was able toconect and reconect 3x .normally even 2x you will already encounter an error.hehe pratice perfect tyiming.
