Hey guys!

Well, I just tried this function at home...
I called my phone and opened the flip - voila, the speakerphone went on...

But I have one question...is it hard for the person that calls you, to hear what you say?
I did this all alone, and I found that the microphone on the phone "went of" and on...just like it was activated only when you speak. Therefore some words just would be impossible, for the person who calls you, to hear!

Can you please share your thoughts???

Best regards, Patrik

I was working from home on Thursday and used the speakerphone on the P800 in a 50 minute phone call with someone back at the office.

He knew I had just got the P800 and asked if I was using the speakerphone. After I told him I was he said that he could tell I was using a speakerphone but it sounded pretty much like the speakerphones we have in the conference rooms in the office and he could easily hear everthing I was saying.

I didn't have to speak any louder than my normal spekaing volume so I would say that the feature works really well.

The mic goes of when the other person speaks to you so that you dont get a singing sound an he hears himself. I personly think that the speakerfunction sucks. the speaker is way to soft to hear the person when you want to use it in ther car and the person on the other end of the line has also difficulties hearing you. I hope this is resolved in the newe fw R1d.

Yeah I can't hear the person i am talking to when i'm outside with speakerphone on, but then again i feel weird using it most of the time and just close the flip and keep talking after a minute or two.
peace.

oh and also it makes sense to me that it is a quite speakerphone because they didn't use a proximity speaker and prolly didn't want to blow out your ear, well at least not completely.
