Please help - K850 Firmware issue |

Ok - so i had a sony ericsson k850 (in the UK) and i was very happy with it, until it was stolen. arse.
Anyway, several months later i have bought another to replace it, which came from hong kong. everything essentially works fine, though all of a sudden i cant use internet and a few other things are slightly different. Internet Options in the system prefs offers me a choice of GPRS square square square square square square, or square square square square square square GPRS, neither of which is any use and both of which make me wonder if the squares are characters which the phone can't display in english (ie chinese characters) and if this is in any way to do with the fact the phone has come from hong kong; so if the firmware is wrong for the uk or similar. At least, this is my best guess. after a little research, the firmware installed is: R1FA035. it looks to me as though what i should have installed is: K850i R1EA037 CID52 K850 1203-2590 CUSTOMIZED UK/ GREEN WESTERN-EUROPE.
So i downloaded and ran the SEUS, which merely told me that i had the latest firmware installed and gave me no other options.
Can ANYBODY please tell me how to force change the firmware to R1EA037 (or whatever it ought to be), and where to get said firmware to do so, or suggest ANYTHING else? i'm completely stuck and something of a noob with all this stuff

I would suggest you to stick to the latest firmware R1FA035. Its most stable one. Rest of firmwares are not stable and with so many bugs.
