Does anyone has any idea on how does Media Server feature works in Satio ?
I am connected to my wireless home network. But can I access the phone from my laptop through same wireless network ?

The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology enables consumer products from different vendors to communicate and create a complete media entertainment system in your home. With the Network sharing feature in your mobile, you can let your phone serve as a mobile digital media server to share the content in your phone with family and friends. With this feature enabled, you can enjoy the vacation photos and the music you have in you mobile, wirelessly on any other DLNA enabled device in your home.

Hm...
Im not sure that Windows Media will recognize it by just doing so..devices with DLNA technologies enabled will work wirelessly.

where un WMP to select U1 ? From File > Open ? If so, I still cannot see the U1 on the network.
I am running XP SP3 though. Can that be a problem ?

Working on my PS3 too, its a bit slow (takes a while to recognise all of the folders on my phone then takes a while to actually start playing the song) compared to using my PC as a media server, but i suppose thats what you expect from a phone

Its a shame you can only use it for pictures and music, not video

But still nice feature to have.

I dont think the 'Media Sharing' app on the Satio supports video at all. I believe it only supports still pictures (photos) and music, which is a shame. You could test it by putting an AVI on the Satio memory card then try to play it via PS3. Im at work so cant test it at the moment, but i'm 90% sure the Satio media sharing app only supports pictures/music NO Video

EDIT - Satio media sharing app ONLY support PHOTO/MUSIC not VIDEO:

'DLNA support for easy transfer of audio and still pictures (no video support)'
