Hey
Does anyone know where I can purchase a 3.5mm stereo adapter for the Sony Satio? I have lost mine already but didn't like the original much because the wire was far too long. I called Sony Ericsson support who said I'd have to purchase the whole headset again that came with the phone. The headset audio quality makes my ears bleed so feel thats a little unfair!
I have purchased 2 aftermarket ones now on the internet. Both were advertised as stereo sound but were mono and of rreally poor build quality
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers

The headset comes in 2 parts - a. fast port and 3.5mm jack and b. the 3.5 mm jack with ear phones.
If you have have lost part a, then I think you need one full headset. But if part b, then any 3.5mm ear phone would do.
On the otherhand, if you are so bothered about the clutter, then SE sales, some Stereo wireless headset. Why dont you have a look at them .. no long wire clutter.

You can change the earphone part if you want to. |

Cheers for the reply.
There still come wires on the bluetooth headset. I'm quite fussy!
Is the headset that comes bundles in the box the Sony Ericsson HPM-77 headset? It would be really good if they could just do the adapter but without the long wire and not some cheap low quality knock off? My headphones have a long wire, and the adapter has a long wire = really really long wire!
I wonder how fast the battery would drain using a bluetooth headset to listen to music? |

The Mw600 bluetooth headset, the battery lasts 8.5 hours to 11 hours according to http://www.chipchick.com/2009/12/sony-ericsson-mw600-review.html
And I feel your weakness about the HPM-77 and headphones being a long wire because I have the same problem, especially, when I work out. I have to keep rolling up the long a$$ cord around the phone ,and slip it in my pocket. My HPM-77 is like dying. Sometime it plays one side of the headphone, or the it sounds choppy. Something internal is wrong with it.
This which bring me to buy the SE mw600 off ebay even though, its not out yet. Still waiting on arrival... ebay FTW
