Just seen Opera mini 5 beta 2 is available http://www.opera.com/mini/next/ - Just tried downloading direct to my P1i and the phone crashed

Will try again since it's now rebooted. Has anyone tried it? - If so, how does it compare with 9.51 fingertouch? - I like that one alot! ( - doesn't seem to be available from Opera anymore as far as I can see...)

@pt020: you don't have the beta 2.

If you need more infor about it there's a thread already running on here: New opera mini 5 beta.

This has the 2 betas being discussed there.

Got it working OK - I like it - and now the full release of Opera mini 5 is out. Anyone notice any difference between beta 2 and the full release - other than the loading screen ( I prefer the beta on in Black and Blue myself ) and not needing to confirm midlet permissions?

Tried it, but found it as slow as the betas on my P1i (which has just been wiped/updated as fresh install). Uninstalled and installed opera mini 4.2 - much slicker and faster. Dont miss the tabbed browsing of mini 5 enough to compensate for the slowness.
