well i upgraded my software for my t68i to r6a latest version and some of the themes dont work, and since using the themes my backlight became wierd, most of the time it never comes on, or it flickers or it is really dim, just unpredictable, i had it fixed by sonyericsson but 10 mins after using it again it happened again
Plz don't hurt me.

i got the exact same problem with my phone after i downloaded some themes and tried them the screen started to flicker and and the next day the backlight never comes on ne more plz help

thats never happened to me and i have that software, send your phone to a SE service centre. have you checked if it is switched to off?

yeah i tried all the different light settings and it still doesn't work i sent it off to a se service centre last week and i am waiting for it to return, hopefully it will be fixed

Sounds like your firmware might have not be installed correctly...
Take it back to SE agent and get them to fix it.
