W995 Video playback - volume control |

When playing back videos without the headphones in, the volume control buttons don't work - they simply go forward / backwards to the next video. Is this correct.
Also if I have the phone on mute and playback a video without headphones in the sound comes out full blast.
Also when browsing videos via the media key it is appallingly slow and jerky - any comments. |

You must press and release volume button(s).

probably there is something wrong with the acoustic driver, corrupted perhaps. google for w995 acoustic drivers and upload to your phone...

@bigvern, as centur points out, you should press and release the buttons, because they double as fast forward and rewind controls.-
About having the phone on mute (I assume you mean activating the silent mode on the stand by screen), the behavior you describe is by design, video player has its own volume control and its not influenced by silent mode.
