Can someone make a patch for the c510, so that when you press the camera button half way, it works as the pause/play button for the media player. And make it work even while the phone is locked jus like a walkman phone.
that would be very handy.
I dont know why sony had to take the play button off the c510, even the k800 had an independant stop/play button.
obviously sony are getting a bit money hungry nowadays, and are trying to seperate the walkman/cybershot phones as much as they can...

If someone do this, i think it will be messed with autofocus there. How if put "play" button to other e.g. Call button for an example. Just by hold it much longer, music will played in your phone. Right?

hey code, arnt you one of the camera driver legends .
erm its fine because i dont use autofocus by the button, i just press the main select button on phone keypad, so it focuses automatic and takes photo fast.
So could you patch, camera button half press = play/pause button
and could you patch the, call button = walkman player
and patch, left softkey = call button & options in certain menu (example file manager)

this way it is exacly like a walkman phone, with camera cover 
similar controls to W610
