I bought the T300 two weeks ago, and to tell the truth, im a bit dissapointed. Im considering going back to the store and exchange it with a T68i.

However, i do have some questions about the phone..

Is it possible to see how many kBs ive downloaded via GPRS? And how much longer the battery is going to last?

Thanks...

Do you mind me asking why you are disappointed and what features do you think are missing compared to T68i ?

T68i = T300, exactly the same phone, except for the following:

T68i has bluetooth, built in modem and Calender (not in T300).

T300 has Ployphonic ringtones, Morphun gaming engine and exchanageable covers (not in T68i). Also T300 supports digital zoom & "special effects" when using MCA-25 cummunicam (although later software version for T68i is rumoured to support this also). Also rumoured is that the T300 supports Nokia picture messaging (not tried it myself).

All other differences are cosmetic only (and whether or not you like the shape, colour etc. is the personal choice of each individual).

To answer your questions:

For battery, simply move the Slider, it will give details on standby and talk times (i.e. how much battery is left).

For GPRS counters, Calls > Time and Cost > Data counters

More tips can be found at http://www.sonyericsson.com
just go to Glabal Support, enter and select T300. There you can
see the FAQ and "Did you know" lists.

Regards,

/Mike B.

Please.... have fun reading your phone manual FIRST, (cover to cover) before posting very basic questions.

SORRY why bother posting just to be a jerk? If you don't have anything nice to say than don't say anything at all

Geeze, you guys are hostile with each other. I thought the idea of this forum was to exchange information and help each other, not trade insults.

As of r1c there is no battery estimates on the t300 and i'm pretty sure it's not included in the d or f flashes so this feature will never be seen on the t300
