Hello everybody... I'm planning to move to UK or Ireland and I'm checking with actual consumers about the best mobile internet tariffs...

Here is the deal: I dont want to have a landline. In the country I'm living (Dominican Republic) I have a mobile 3G service, which gives me unlimited data for US$30 monthly and has a cap of 5GB. After that, speed is lower (128kbps)...

Is there anything like this in Ireland or UK??

Thanks!

I was reading this in Tmobile.co.uk:

*Internet on your phone comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. We’ll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won’t charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your booster, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much. If you remove your booster and then use internet on your phone you’ll automatically be charged our daily rate, see t-mobile.co.uk.

What happens after that 1GB per month? What if I use like 14GB per month (like I'm doing right now in Dominican Republic)
