Flight mode and signal radiation? |

Does being in flight mode give off signal radiation? I sleep with my phone at my nightstand so I can hear the alarm and wake up on time, everyday. I'm feel very uncomfortable sleeping every night knowing that radiation is slowly affecting my body. I know in this society we pretty much have to live with it if we want to stay connected with the rest of the world but cutting it by at least 8 hours a day makes me feel a bit better about it.
What do you guys think about flight mode?
Also, how do you guys feel about mobile phone radiation in general? |

Saw a few guys post infrequent failures in that, I need to wake up on time, reliably. |

No it would not because the radio frequency is cut off.

Alternatively, you can load an app which switches off the phone automatically at bedtime and swicthes on say 15 mins before your morning wake up time so that phone still can sound the alarm.
I am sure someone mentioned earlier about an app which can switch off/on. But I did not pay attention to it at that time so do not remember. You may need to do some Google to find it.
Also you can load an app called Profile Scheduler from Dr Jukka through which you can change the profile to Flight Mode for scheduled time. I have the app installed and it is excellent. Takes low memory and works perfect. So in flight mode IF the radiation is cut off, then this would be good solution.
