idiots guide to flashing a w950i |

Hello, I have search around a bit on these forums and found some guides (i lost the one which juan wrote I think about CID53). Basically I have a W950i which was updated to the latest version via SEUS and now it is saying it is locked.
I desperately need to get it unlocked again however I am a novice when it comes to this sort of thing, plus everything I have seen seems to complicated. Does anyone know of a very simple fool proof (free) way I can get this unlocked?
I managed to find a copy of the firmware file I think if that helps.. |

use far manager + jdplugin search "flash CID w580i" in google keep searching i think ahskey did a tutorial that i used for my old w580i

hi thanks for your reply, I will have a look. I am having trouble finding the file system too,
the zip I downloaded which had the firmware in it has these:
R1A_W950_CCPU_GDFS_Update.gdfs
R6E28_CDA162014_1_ACPU_NI_Generic_World1.armsoftware
R6E28_CDA162014_1_ACPU_NI_ROFS2_Generic_World1.armsoftware
R6E28_CDA162014_1_CCPU_NI_NoSIMLock_Generic_World1.gdfs
Which would i use?? So confusing |

Mriley, he is asking about w950i, not w580i.

If your phone is of cid 52, you can unlock it using aerix tool or D-Ultimate Unlocker. You need to have free account to use aerix tool. Do some reseach on both before using it. 
If it is cid 53, sorry no free method available to unlock it. You need to pay online to unlock it.

Hey, thank you for your reply. I was coming around to thinking as much. I have found somewhere online for £12 so I guess I will have to suck it up and just buy it. I have never known unlocking a phone to be so damn complicated! |

I am having problem with my W950i's earpiece speaker and microphone. I am looking for the Ressurection Package (normally it is a zip file that contains CCPU_Signaling_SW.... and about 3,58 MB in capacity) but it seems to be impossible. I have searched through the web and found that the Ressurection Package is only available for SE M600, P990i, P1 and W960. If anyone has the package for W950i, please share with me. Many thanks. |
