Hi

Today I tried to upgrade my P800 here in Norway. At EMTS (as usual) they couldn't do it. I am going to Stockholm for the weekend. Therefore I wonder if it is possible to update the P800 with the Norwegian upgrade in Sweden?

quite long... up to 60min...
are you just visiting Stockholm for the weekend? then it can be tough to find a servicepoint that does it while you are waiting... not many servicepoints are opened during the weekends.

@ Cytech Is this upgrade for better voice quality outgoing? Are there any other improvements on this one? Would it be possible to have it upgraded tomorrow?

EMTS in Stavanger can upgrade your P800. Did one today. Took around 60 minutes. Norwegian and Swedish language is in the same software Zand.

I had my P800 upgraded today with R1F software I think.

The Service center must have USB flashing kit, othervise it cannot upgrade the P800.

The upgrade takes about 25 minutes total.

All user data is lost during the upgrade, make shure you have done a fresh backup before having the P800 upgraded.

I haven't seen any difference in the new software. I hope CiC jot doesn't freeze up the system anymore. There is supposed to be an Audio patch also, I haven't heard anyone saying it made a difference yet.
