@masseur... i have the 3 Mifi and its ace. i use it with my nettop whilst on the move and i cant fault it. starts up everytime and i just top it up when i need to.
Also much more handy as also allows me to get apps on my ipod touch when on the move and out of wifi coverage and allows much more freedom of where to acess the internet on the move.
In regards to the iPad... i've ordered one from a UK based company who have them for £450 delivered. Got confirmation today its posted out so should have it by monday at the latest ) |

that doesn't look very stable like that
I saw a Video on Kelkoo who happen to have the first one in the UK apparentley,
the un-boxing doesn't look very amazing plus the whole iPad seems to take up the whole box inside

your guess is as good as mine.
I assume we'll find out next Monday when pre-orders open, but don't expect an exchangerate conversion from the current US prices. perhaps do the conversion and add 30%!?

so... not far off the exchange rate + 30% that I suggested.
I'm not convinced I wanna pay that much for this. I'm certainly not preordering.

Still much cheaper to get one from the states and i might just go for that option
Does it make a difference that their power supply is different from ours and how can get that to work here? |

the only issue you have is fitting the 2 prongs US adaptor into the 3 prong UK socket. A travel adaptor will sort that.
... or just charge direct from USB
