My C905 was lagging in the midst of uninstalling a game and I inadvertently interrupted the process by pressing the end button, and now I'm getting the Invalid Application error message for all new games and applications installed from that point forward. I suspect it's not the well known firmware bug because I have it flashed to the latest generic version and it affects only the ones installed after that tragic point of uninstallation gone awry. Also, the error is always accompanied by the title of the accursed game that was interrupted while being uninstalled, rather than the respective titles of the actual games/applications. :|

I imagine reflashing the device should ideally do the trick if all else fails, but I would really like to avoid going through the trouble of setting everything up all over again because, to be honest, the process is really a pain. I've been fiddling around with the system files (in the memory, not FileSystem) and I've reached the rather unremarkable conclusion that the problem is probably in the phone itself, either in phone memory or FileSystem, since a) doing everything I could think of with the memory card hasn't resulted in any changes (this included manually deleting the files of the game that was meant to have been uninstalled and was gone from the phone's games/applications list, as well as removing all the gibberish files--which I assume to be game saves and the like--inside ams folder), and b) even when the memory card is taken out, the phone acknowledges that such and such list of games/applications are installed. I'm hoping that locating the phone's 'list' file will help get to the bottom of this mystery. From my experience of poking around the system files, I'm guessing that this 'list' must be in the FileSystem because I could not locate it otherwise. Would I have any chance of fixing this through A2Uploader, or am I just wasting my time and best cut my losses by reflashing now than later?

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. The initial message I was receiving was Operation Failed, but it appears to be strictly Invalid Application now for some reason.

Searching seems a waste of time that's better used with resetting your settings. Another plus with reinstalling is that your phone is clean and fresh. No more hidden files or left-over cookies.

Haha, I suppose you do have a point there. I'll try poking around the FileSystem a bit more, but frankly, I'm getting the sense that my hopes are dashed, so I probably will have to reflash in the end. Still, if anyone has any brilliant suggestions that I might try out, please let me know!
